About SFPK Gmail Accounts:
- By signing up, you will be granted access to a free gmail hosted email account from SFPK, using the sfparkour domain - e.g. YourUserName@sfparkour.com.
- Along with this account, you will be granted access to SFPK gmail, google calendar, google talk (chat), and google docs.
- We recommend this account is used primarily for parkour-related communications only. We do not recommend using this as your primary/only email address!
How to Sign Up:
Signing up is easy! Please just post your request in this thread, and an account will be set up for you using your exact forum username. An admin will post to confirm when your new email account is ready. That's it!
Please note Terms of Use: You must have at least 10 posts to qualify for an account.
How to Access:
SFPK Gmail URL - http://mail.sfparkour.com/
Log in using:
Username = Your exact forum username
Password = <user defined, see below>
When logging in for the first time:
1) Your Password will initially be set to "password". Please change your password immediately!
2) Change your First Name, Last Name, and Nickname as you wish. Your First Name will initially be set to your Username, and Last Name set to "PK".
3) If you have an issue logging in, please PM Corndogg (http://www.sfparkour.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=1).
Terms of Use:
- You must be an active SFPK forum member in good standing.
- You must have posted at least 10 legitimate posts to qualify for an account.
- By signing up for an account, you agree to the Terms of Use.
- SFPK reserves the right to suspend or terminate any SFPK Gmail account.
- Google Terms of Service (http://www.google.com/accounts/TOS?hl=en) still apply and will be enforced if necessary by SFPK.

Tips:
For those with multiple email accounts, to forward emails:
1) When logged into your Gmail account, click on "Settings" in the upper right.
2) Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
3) Select "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and enter in the email address you want emails sent to. We recommend you "keep" them in your SFPK Gmail account as well.
4) Click "Save Changes".

alright everyone noted in the 2nd post so far has been set up. you can access it at - http://mail.google.com/a/sfparkour.com . please note that i am attempting to get this changed to http://mail.sfparkour.com soon, ill let people know when.
login using your exact forum name, and "password". please change your password asap!
i will add some more info about these and the "Terms of Use" (dont abuse it, best not to use as only/primary email, itll be available as long as SFPK is alive n kickin, more mumbo jumbo) soon, but for now have at it...

lol whats the difference? here on sfpk its "BENNY" with all CAPS, but if you make it "BENNY@sfparkour.com will i have to sign in with CAPS and then password? is the login case-sensative? i mean if so i dont wanna have to hit caps lock everytime i log in. i dont mind "benny", id even prefer it for the email lol. i write my name in lowercase most of the time anyways haha.:laugh:

no, if you email or login using either all caps or not, itll still work. if i email BENNY@ or benny@ youll still get it. its really more of a matter of helping me manage everything, i like consistency and standardization :naughty:

no, the hosting provider and package i have ($16/mo + $10 domains) offers quite a few nice software packages and options and integrations. we used to use the free phpBB forum but i paid to upgrade to this 3rd party vBulletin software ($160 + $30/yr). but the blog software, and all the google app integrations come with the package. so its free! love it. :biggthumpup:

not really, i guess youd have to forward everything over. but do note that gmail has 2 features that may help:
1) any time you get an email at a gmail account, you can have it send a notification to another gmail account.
2) you can setup POP and other email accounts within your gmail, to receive and access multiple email accounts from a single interface.

:biggthumpup: Yep, just look up "hosted gmail". You can set it up for any domain, as long as you can change the email servers with your hosting provider. Dreamhost (hosting provider) offers this as an integrated service for account holders. Cool stuff, especially since most hosting providers have pretty crappy native or proprietary web mail.
