im moving!

hello everyone!
i just wanted to say i will be moving at the end of next month back down to southern california. im moving down so that i can pursue my dream to be a stuntman. :fingersx: my dad has some connections so i truely hope it will help get me in the door. Maybe i can make it on tempest!! hahaha we will see.

i want to thank everyone for helping me become the tracuer i am today. i have been inspired by many people on this forum and made many bonds at the same time. hopefully we all get to jam in SoCal one day and ill be visiting back up here for jams. im gonna try to jam as much as i can and get to the monthlies before i leave but i am pretty broke so we shall see if i can.

I can think of no better reason to move than to follow your dreams, well done. I know I'll see you again after you move down there, the only question in my mind is whether I'll see you in person or in the movies first :laugh:


If you need any of the footage I've accumulated of you to make a demo reel, let me know. Heck, I get out of school in ten days and have relatives in Sacramento I can stay with if you want to make one. Then again, I hear southern california has no shortage of cameramen ;)

Well, I'm all the way down in San Diego. Literally 10 minutes from the border. There's about an hour's worth of "no mans land" between SD and OC. There are a lot of peeps in that area though and I usually drive up for the SoCal sessions.

yea. its a nice drive tho! maybe when i get some money and i dont have training ill make it down to sd and we can jam. im sure there are some nice spots there

You definitely got the skills, you just need the marketing. The only thing about skills is that stuntmen often are called on to fall viciously. Hate to say it, you may need to learn how to not complete a trick smoothly!

thanks alot guys! i appreciate all the support. it means alot to me because i have learned so much from you all.

i have been practicing some falls actually. i was/and will try to keep going, to the stuntpeople open gyms up in richmond. good experiance and some awesome fighters there.

as for connections, my dad is actually an actor :) he is not the well known to most, but to martial arts movie fans he is. he has finally had his lucky break and last year worked on Tekken and is now working on expendables. www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253 i think thats the link, i cant see it at work because it is blocked. any ways, he is good friends with THE best stunt coordinator in the biz and hopefully if everything works out, ill be training with his crew. :sfpkvault::fingersx:
