So recently I bought a semi-custom fitted pair of saucony shoes. The absorption and fit is just perfect. I feel like I'm getting strong grip, yet i hear so much about stealth rubber shoes, I am curious if im missing out. Is the grip on stealth rubber shoes really that fantastic ? how are the other attributes of the shoes?

yes, stealth rubber is pretty much as good as its gonna get as far as stickiness and traction. its not good for things like long distance running, but for grip its the bomb. but, you may not get it on the style of shoe youre looking for, it may be more climbing or other style...

so far shock absorbs amazing.
tight fit for my wide ass foot. but well see once it wears in.
traction is amazing, its definitely stealth rubber. standing on 45 degree slants isn't a problem. i cant wait till the teeth run down a little more for the big advantage on the street. ill update more once I've hit pavement.

Speaking of Stealth Rubber, there's some AWESOME freerunning shots in an episode of Modern Marvels that aired last night that included a long segment on Stealth Rubber.
Anyone know these guys?

I coulda sworn we already talked about this, but it wouldn't surprise me if we haven't. That all went down when we had a lot of shite goin on, so it very easily coulda slipped through the cracks.
FYI, the freerunning clips start at 5:59 on that vid.
